Comps that scale
Build at 1080p, deliver at 4K. Compositions nest, pre-render and reuse across projects without breaking the layer stack underneath.
Open the studio and the comp is already waiting: a layer timeline with keyframes, an effect stack you can reorder at any time, Roto Brush and Keylight, a 3D camera tracker, expressions, and a cloud render queue that writes the master without a proxy farm.
Project, Comp, Layers, Effects, Roto, 3D and Render all read the same composition. Switch panels without exporting, relinking or handing the shot to another application.
Build at 1080p, deliver at 4K. Compositions nest, pre-render and reuse across projects without breaking the layer stack underneath.
Set two keyframes and shape the timing in the graph editor, or switch a property to an expression when the motion follows a rule.
Blurs, curves, glow, grain, transitions and animation presets, all searchable and all still editable after they are applied.
Roto Brush, Keylight, track mattes and content aware fill all live in the same comp as the footage they clean up.
Save any comp as a template with locked layout and editable text, colour and media, ready for the next editor to pick up.
Queue several output modules for one comp, render them in the cloud and download each master when it is done.
Start a composition at the size and frame rate the delivery needs, then stack footage, solids, shape layers and text on top of each other. Parent layers to a null, add a track matte, and keep moving with the keyboard while the viewer keeps up.
Stack blur, curves, colour balance, glow and displacement on any layer. Reorder the stack, put a stopwatch on any parameter, and save the result as a preset the next shot can reuse without re-rendering anything.
Paint a few strokes on the first frame and let Roto Brush follow the subject through the shot. Refine the edge, take the chatter out, then pull a key with spill suppression on a greenscreen plate and clean up with content aware fill.
Solve a moving camera into 3D space, attach type and screen replacements to the tracking points, then let expressions and the graph editor shape the timing instead of a wall of extra keyframes.
Compose, animate, finish and render in one session. Nothing is rendered twice because the layers, effects and mattes stay attached to the composition.
Start a composition at the delivery size and frame rate, bring in footage, shapes and text, and lay out the frame with guides, rulers and snapping.
Set keyframes on position, scale, rotation and opacity, shape the curves in the graph editor, and hand anything repetitive to an expression.
Stack effects, pull keys and mattes with Roto Brush, solve the camera and stabilise the shot, all still editable inside the composition.
Choose the output modules, queue the render, and download the master or the version each destination asks for.
Pick the comp once and render the versions each destination expects: web, ProRes hand off, alpha sequences, linear EXR and audio only stems, all queued from the same composition.
Title design, short form, episodic VFX, screen replacement, agency review and classrooms all use the same composition and the same panels.
Build title cards, lower thirds and logo stings from shape layers, then save them as templates the whole team can reuse.
Turn one comp into vertical, square and widescreen versions with editable text and colour, and render them all from a single queue.
Key, roto and track shots in the browser, then hand the comp to the finishing team with every matte and tracker intact.
Track a phone or laptop screen inside the shot and drop a live UI capture onto it with corner pin, blend modes and grain.
Keep one comp per deliverable, share a review link, and keep comments attached to the version that changed.
Students open the comp on any laptop with no licence server, learn the real keyframe and effects workflow, and render their own master.
Everything below runs in the browser on a Google account. A desktop class pipeline needs the installs, the plugins and the hand offs listed in the right column.
| Capability | After Effects online | Desktop only pipeline |
|---|---|---|
| Install | Nothing to install | Licence, plugins and GPU drivers |
| Compositions | Comps open in the browser | Project files on one machine |
| Effects | Effect stack and presets included | Third party plugins and versions |
| Roto and keying | Roto Brush and Keylight in the comp | Same, only on that workstation |
| Tracking | 3D camera tracker and nulls | Same, only on that machine |
| Collaboration | Shared comps and versions | Sneakernet or a studio server |
| Render | Cloud queue with output modules | Manual export and upload |
| Access | Any laptop, Google sign in | One licensed workstation |
Every plan opens the same studio. Upgrade when you need 4K compositions, Roto Brush and camera tracking, more render credits or team seats.
For short comps, titles and first passes in the browser studio.
For motion designers and compositors who finish every week.
For teams shipping episodic, broadcast and client work.
Yearly billing is charged once for the full year. Every plan renews automatically and can be cancelled from your billing settings.
The comp the client signs off is the comp we render. Nothing has to be rebuilt or re-imported at the end of the job.
Roto Brush turned a three day cleanup into an afternoon, and the matte stayed editable right through to the last frame.
Expressions plus the graph editor means our templates animate themselves as soon as the text is swapped.
Install requirements, project portability, render credits, output formats and billing.
No. The studio runs in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers. Sign in with Google and your compositions, footage and render queue open in the browser.
Compositions keep the same layer, effect and keyframe structure, so a comp, its mattes and its trackers can be carried into a desktop pipeline for finishing without rebuilding the animation.
Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance used for rendering, camera tracking, roto and heavy effects work. Credits refresh at the start of every billing period and unused credits do not roll over.
H.264 and H.265 for web, ProRes for hand off, PNG sequences with alpha, 32-bit EXR for linear finishing and audio only stems at 48 kHz 24-bit.
Cancel from billing settings at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the paid period and your project data remains available to export.
No. This is an independent third party browser studio that follows the After Effects composition, keyframe, effect, roto and tracking workflow. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Adobe.
Sign in with Google, the project panel opens and Comp 1 is already waiting for your first layer.
